The salaries of government employees will be adjusted according to the market situation – Public Service Division

The Public Service Division will revise the salaries of some government employees according to market conditions.

The changes will take effect from the first of August.

This will benefit about 23 thousand employees. They will get a pay rise of five to 14 per cent.

Officers in the Executive Officers’ Division, Executive Support Division and Corporate Support Division will be given a salary increase of five to ten per cent.

Additional hikes are available for those in hierarchies with more gaps with market standards.

Action Support Division officers will be offered a further 6 percent to 14 percent pay rise.

This is in line with the call made by the Tripartite Working Group on such employees to improve the salaries of low-income employees.
