An extended external screen
Samsung was eagerly awaited on the external screen of the Galaxy Z Flip 5. A new processor for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5
Who says new generation of smartphone says new processor. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 is no exception and is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip (latest processor from Qualcomm) to deliver high performance in your applications and games. Widely acclaimed by a wide range of manufacturers, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 has already proven itself in the past (notably in the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra) thanks to its excellent performance.
Two photo sensors
Like previous generations, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 has two photo sensors on the back of the device (a main lens and an ultra-wide-angle). The latter each have 12 Mpx to take nice daily photos and will benefit from all the algorithmic processing of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor to improve their quality.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 also has a 10MP selfie camera so you can take photos even when the smartphone is unfolded.
An unchanged battery
The battery of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 does not change this year and continues to have 3700 mAh. The smartphone still has wired charging of up to 25 W and compatibility with wireless charging of up to 10 W. However, it will be necessary to test the efficiency of the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and its impact on the battery given the latter’s performance on previous smartphones released this year (notably the S23 Ultra which has excellent battery life!).
