The São Paulo U20 women’s team bid farewell too Copinha this Sunday (8) after being eliminated by Fluminense on penalties, 4-3, after a 1-1 draw in regulation time, at CERET, in São Paulo (SP), in quarter-finals of the competition. The goal of the Sao Paulo team was scored by Fatima Acosta.

The first minutes were in total control of the Italian team with strong pressure and ball possession. The first good arrival came in the 6th minute: Késia Senna headed Milena’s cross, but the ball went wide. In the 11th minute, Ana Ju tried to cover the goalkeeper, but the opponent ended up blocking it. But in the 45th minute, after a free kick taken by the opponent, it was Stefane’s turn to open the scoring: 1-0 for Fluminense.
After the break, San Paolo maintained pace and possession of the ball. In the 27th minute,Késia senna passed the ball to Anna Clara,who kicked very hard and the ball went over the goal. In the 39th minute, the opponent used her arm to prevent the attack and Tricolore was awarded a penalty. From the penalty spot, Fatima Acosta equalized: 1-1, the final score of regulation time.
The decision on the vacant position was then defined in the sanctioning dispute. San Paolo ends up defeated 4-3 and says goodbye to the Women’s Cup.
