A wind of disapproval blew from the left, Tuesday, November 7, in the wake of the sanctions taken by the office of La France Insoumise (LFI) in the National Assembly against the deputy for Seine-Saint-Denis Raquel Garrido, at war for month with the direction of movement. The previous evening, the latter, who had been critical of Jean-Luc Mélenchon in recent weeks, had been informed of his four-month suspension from her role as speaker at the Palais-Bourbon, depriving her of de facto of the slightest intervention during question sessions with the government.

It’s like Adrien Quatennens”, continued Raquel Garrido. At the end of 2022, the former heir apparent of the “rebellious” leader was excluded from the parliamentary group for four months after his conviction for domestic violence.
On France Inter, Clémentine Autain, also in conflict with the leadership of the first left-wing party, said “appalled”. “We do not resolve political differences with bureaucratic sanctions”regretted the elected representative of Seine-Saint-Denis, judging that the four months served as a “unfortunate” symbol.

The MP also denounced the policy of ” Two weights, two measures “ ongoing within the movement, between those close to the three-time presidential candidate and his opponents. She thus noticed that neither the Paris deputy Danièle Obono, who had suggested that Hamas was a “resistance movement”nor her colleague, Sophia Chikirou, also elected in Paris and likely to be indicted for aggravated fraud, had been invited to justify herself by the same office.
Even François Ruffin came out of his usual reserve. “Why four months and not two, or six, against Raquel Garrido? What obscure paragraph of what unknown regulation decides this? »pretended to question the deputy for Somme, who invited his parliamentary group to “provide the price list in the event of political divergence”, “in the absence of being able to debate”.
