The “RODION PADEIA” Schools organize and invite you to the “Science and Art Open Day” and the “Path of Literature” that will take place on Sunday, April 14, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at their facilities.
The “Science and Art Open Day” is an innovative and multidimensional event open to parents, teachers, students and friends of the Schools.
Every year, the “RODION PAIDEIA” Schools hold this extraordinary event that hosts hundreds of visitors. It is a day full of action and creativity, where students and teachers join forces to offer a unique experience to the public. Those who attend this event will have the opportunity to take a tour of specially designed booths, the activities of the groups that operate in the Schools, but also the research papers that the students have prepared during the school year.
Also, on the same day, another special event will take place, “The Path of Literature”. The amazing world of children’s literature comes to life on an imaginative path. Discover a Path where stories travel and invite you as their fellow travelers on unique adventures.
The educational program: “The Path of Literature” has won awards from educational institutions for its contribution to the education of children as well as for its originality.
A multitude of activities with many surprises await young and old visitors to the Trail again this year.
In particular, the guests will have the opportunity to meet the award-winning author and illustrator Marina Gioti. The author will welcome young readers and they will discover her books with her. Children will meet Marina Gioti in the company of the yellow, smiling, fluffy Fluff of Happiness from the book
“The Fluffs of Happiness.” They will also travel to “Never-Never Island” for a really fun “book party”! The Yeti, this magical little creature, will come to life before their eyes to remind them, or perhaps teach them all over again, the power of “yet”. And finally, Miltos and Melina from the book “To Kati ti?” invite the children to explore Melissoupoli and help them save the hive.
Inspirational stations combine play and entertainment, while well-known heroes and authors come to life at every turn of the Trail. “The Path of Literature” offers young and old the opportunity to “travel” with their favorite literary books, find themselves on Never-Never Island and try to save the environment, discover riddles in the company of their favorite heroines, Leda and Hero, to help the bees Milto and Melina and so many other surprises that will reveal the magic of books.
In the school premises there will be a rich book exhibition with magical stories and loving fairy tales for every reader who wishes to “Cross the seas on the wings of imagination”, according to the message for World Children’s Book Day 2024.
In addition, from the “Smile of the Child”, there will be a special stand where you can get candles and Easter gifts, thus supporting an important social effort.
“Lychnari” Radio will broadcast live from the school’s courtyard and visitors will have the opportunity to give interviews.
The events will be completed with sports activities that will take place from 13:00 to 14:00 at the training grounds. Have fun and exercise with your children and loved ones.
The “Open Day of Science and Art” and “The Path of Literature” will once again give you unique and unforgettable experiences.
