EXCLUSIVE RANKING – Among 150 coastal towns in France, discover our study to understand where to obtain the best profitability by renting an apartment to tourists.
On the abandoned beach, profitability and shellfish… By the sea, the owners are still betting on furnished tourist accommodation. Renting via a platform (Airbnb, Abritel, etc.) often makes it possible to maximize the gross return on a rental property. With a few exceptions, such as Biarritz, Saint-Malo, Nice, offering a short-term apartment in a coastal town is poorly regulated.
However, not all municipalities have the same potential for investors. We have thus calculated the gross annual yield of a furnished tourist accommodation for 150 French seaside towns, using exclusive data provided to us by AirDNA, a company that analyzes data from Airbnb and HomeAway. We compared the municipalities according to the occupancy rate on the platforms, the average price per night and of course the price of the property to purchase… Discover all the results, from the most profitable places to those where the equation financial turns out to be much more risky.
