A Russian Sukhoi fighter jet crashed today (Sunday) into a residential building in the city of Irkutsk in Siberia, and the two pilots on board were killed. This is the second fatal accident in a week, when six days ago a military plane of the same model crashed into an apartment building in the city of Yask in southern Russia, near the shores of the Sea of Azov, killing 15 people.
In a post published by the governor of the district on his Telegram account, he stated that the current plane hit a two-story building in the city, and published a video in which firefighters were seen climbing among the ruins and trying to put out the fire that broke out there.
