Jean-Eric BRANAA.- From the first media announcements on the CBS channel at the start of the week, all the elements are in place for this affair to become a major political scandal. I am also surprised that the French press was slow to echo it. The political context in the United States was already explosive: two camps face each other and hate each other to a degree rarely equaled so far. They describe each other as ultra-conservatives or wokists, and no longer talk to each other.
