Laleton’s new caravan is a collection of many curiosities. The ‘Ojas Team’ caravan at Kothamangalam is built on Bharat Benz’s 1017 bus chassis.
The caravan has two doors. Front and back. His assistants can get in through the back door. Use this for things including makeup. Enter the actor’s personal cabin through the front door. The main feature of this cabin is a push pack chair. Its settings are such that it can be used as a bed if needed and as a settee for guests to sit on. Even the table used for eating food is folding type. The interior settings are such that maximum space is available.
There is a TV, fridge and microwave in this cabin. It also has bathroom facilities. An interesting feature of the car’s body design is the presence of the letter ‘L’. If you look carefully, you will understand.
The carriage was completed on the 25th of last month, but Mohanlal, who was in the UK, saw it after his return. He liked it a lot. According to the layout drawn by Mohanlal, the caravan was prepared by a group called ‘Ojas’ of Kothamangalam. It took 5 months. The actor decided to prepare a new caravan due to lack of facilities in the existing caravan. The old car has been kept unsold.
The number of the new vehicle is 2255. Anish, the driver of the caravan, says that Laletan came to know about this after getting the number and he was very happy. Anish also said that Anthony Perumbavoor’s suggestion was that there should be no compromise on Lal sir’s comfort or convenience while the caravan was being prepared. Anish has been with Laletan and Anthony Perumbavoor for 17 years. Anish says that the pictures of the caravan came out only after Lal sir came and saw it after a month of construction.
