Zvika Hadar, the comedian and media man, attacked the campaigns against “religion” and said: “As a child we were happy about it, we did not see it as a threat.” He added: “Do not read Steve Jobs – read the books of the Chabad Rebbe”

The secular comedian and media and television man, Zvika Hadar, said last night (Wednesday) that he “does not understand why people read the book of Steve Jobs – who will read the book of the Rebbe of Chabad.”

Hadar, who spoke at the banquet event of the young people of the Chabad Association, explained why he calls on the public to read in the books of the late Chabad Rebbe: “There was no great marketing genius like him.”

Hadar, who defines myself as a secular person “even though I do not like to use that word,” as he was quick to say, went on to tell the audience that “everywhere in the world you just brief you have McDonald’s, you have Coca-Cola and you have a Chabad house.”

Later, Hadar also referred to the “religion” storm and said that as a child, Chabad emissaries would walk around his neighborhood. “We were happy about that. “No one saw this as a threat to secularism or that parents would no longer be able to visit the children,” Hadar was quoted as saying on Channel 14.
