by time news

Ming-Chi Koo, a well-known Apple product analyst, mentioned in his recent predictions about the iPhone 14 that the selfie camera of all iPhone 14 models will have autofocus. It is said that an f/1.9 aperture sensor is used for the selfie camera. This is a huge improvement over the iPhone, which to this day uses fixed focus for its selfie camera. The iPhone’s selfie camera uses an f/2.2 aperture sensor.

Photos, video calls, and streaming apps will use this feature. A wider lens lets in more light and images are of higher quality. It should also be noted that AF allows for better subject tracking and better depth detection performance. We don’t have information yet about the sensor size for the selfie camera; But adding autofocus to the iPhone selfie camera improves image quality.
