Sarahnaz Kamalika Zaman, Patron of Sena Parivar Kalyan Samiti and Chief Patron of Ladies Club and Children’s Club, handed over a donation of Tk.
The donation was handed over to Chief of Army Staff General Waqar-uz-Zaman on Tuesday (August 27).
The donated money is given to the Chief Adviser’s Relief and Welfare Fund. Besides, relief items, cash, clothes, ration, medicine, dry food were handed over voluntarily by the members of Sena Parivar Kalyan Samiti, Ladies Club and Children Club existing in the cantonment.
At this time, the Patron of Sena Parivar Kalyan Samiti and Chief Patron of Ladies Club and Children’s Club expressed their strong conviction to stand by the helpless people affected by the flood and urged the people from all walks of life to come forward to help the flood victims.
Senior officers of Army headquarters along with presidents of Sena Parivar Kalyan Samiti, Ladies Club and Children’s Club Dhaka region were present in the event.
