This is news that will make more than 4 million retirees happy. Every month, they wait (impatiently) for the payment of their pension, which is the only source – or the least – of their income. In some pension plans, the payment is not always on the same day, as in others. With different days each month, it’s difficult to have an exact calendar in mind.
In September, some retirees will have the pleasant surprise of receiving a transfer earlier than usual and, above all, less than a month later than before. The payment is advanced easily because of the schedule.
Pensioners receiving a pension from the National Pension Fund for Local Authority Agents (CNRACL) will ensure that the money arrives earlier than usual at the end of the month. These old workers in the local or hospital civil service receive their pension on the last days of the month, on a different day each time. By the end of September, 1.6 million retirees will see their accounts read from Thursday September 26.
But that’s not all. Other pensioners will also benefit from their pension “in advance”. From Friday September 27, 2.5 million state pension beneficiaries will receive their monthly payments. These are former members of the army and different administrations (Economy, Education, Materials, Interior, Justice), but also former PTT (La Poste and Orange).
These payments are made on these days because the prevailing law is to pay pensions one or two days before the last working day (Monday to Friday) of the month. But be careful not to show off and boast, the next payment will not take place until 29 and 30 October. So make sure to manage your budget well.
