It’s been almost a year since Brawl Stars launched one of the most exciting promises in a long time. On August 27, 2022, in which the concept of the Story mode through a rework of PvE modesand of which neither has been seen nor expected.
Over the months, the Supercell team explained that everything was ready to be launched in October 2022, but that finally they were not convinced with the result, and they decided to postpone it to give us something of quality. while, in turn, they stopped that illusion by the alleged Story Modesince it is one thing to use the lore as a stage, and another is that one-player mode that many came to imagine.
And now we find ourselves with the scenario that tomorrow is Tuesday, August 1, and we return to the month in which a year ago we were promised the much-desired rework of obsolete modes that players only play for the rewards of the chips, and little else. The challenge died long ago.
A month of August 2023 in which the new Brawl Talk will offer us another new roadmap. A fact more than confirmed but that makes us think about the incomplete promises of last year. Which, over time, is becoming a problem.
Because? Because they canceled their launch to offer us something really incrediblein the words of the team Brawl Stars. Those words, and the time that continues to pass, does nothing but increase the hype more and more. And there may come a time when The expectations are so high, that when the rework arrives at PvE, it does not meet them.
Of course, the community will have part of the problem by creating those false expectations. But the truth is that the timing has played a very trick on them and now it runs against them. Although, of course, it may be that this rework is everything we wanted and much more. Time will tell.
