American corporation Microsoft tests a new Windows 11 settings main page that will adapt to the user. A preview build of the new feature is available to members of the Windows Insider Program.
The new settings menu will have special cards with quick access to the most frequently adjusted settings. For example, if the user frequently changes the desktop wallpaper, then the personalization menu and display options will be shown to the user. You’ll also see your Xbox and Microsoft 365 subscription status and remaining OneDrive cloud storage space. At first, there will be seven cards for quick access to settings, in the future they plan to increase their number.
Other features that Microsoft is testing include the ability to create backups before transferring to another device. The desktop and settings will be preserved, and previously installed applications will receive links to the Microsoft Store or the developer’s site.
