As part of a joint activity of the General Security Service and the Israel Police/Negev Police, during the month of September 2022, two Israeli citizens living in the Negev who were in contact with an operative of a terrorist organization from the Gaza Strip were arrested.

In the Shin Bet’s investigation of the two, Saad Abu Rakeyk, about 20 years old, a resident of Tel Sheva, and Sameh Alanbari, about 21 years old, a resident of Pazorat Alanbari/Hura, it emerged that they were in contact with an operative of a terrorist organization who lives in the Gaza Strip.

During the relationship the two had with the activist from the Gaza Strip, they carried out tasks of money transfers and this according to the activist’s request.

In addition, Sameh Allenbari was asked by the same operative to perform additional security tasks and even agreed to help transfer weapons to another.

This is a countermeasure that teaches about the activities of the terrorist organizations from the Gaza Strip, which continue to work at all times to recruit Israeli citizens for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities.

At the end of their investigation by the Shin Bet, indictments were filed against the two by the Southern District Attorney’s Office accusing them of serious security offenses.
