Hamdon Mayor Lauren Garrett said in a Facebook post that the rapper was taken by ambulance to a local hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.

The hip-hop artist’s talent agency MN2S confirmed Fatman’s death to Variety on Saturday. However, the cause of his death is not known.
MN2S CEO Sharon said in a statement: ‘Scoop was a beloved figure in the music world, whose work was loved by countless fans around the world. His iconic voice, flamboyant personality left a mark on the industry.’
Scoop’s real name is Isaac Freeman III. Fatman Scoop was born on August 6, 1971 in New York. The singer was a dominant figure in New York City’s hip hop scene in the 1990s.
