Time.news – The Neapolitan singer, author and musician Peppino Gagliardi has died at the age of 83. The Neapolitan musician Gianni Aterrano, his colleague and friend, gave the news on social media.

Born in the popular Vasto district of Naples on May 25, 1940, Peppino Gagliardi approached music as a child starting to play the accordion, then moving on to guitar and piano. He has participated in numerous Naples Festivals and five Sanremo Festivals, where he earned two second places.

Among his most famous songs are ‘Settembre’ from 1970, and ‘Gocce di Mare’, ‘Ti amo cosi’, ‘Sempre semper’, ‘Come le viole’ and ‘Come un bambini’.
