The Social Front continues its mobilization to protest in a number of cities against the high cost of living

In a number of cities, the Moroccan Social Front continues to mobilize to urge citizens to participate in the vigils to be organized next Saturday.

This leftist coordination, in its entirety, announced its plans after a meeting at the central headquarters of the Moroccan Association for Human Rights in Rabat.

The meeting discussed the cost of living, which the Front described, through a communiqué, as “dangerous and unprecedented” for basic foodstuffs, especially meat and fish, especially vegetables.

The coordination denounced what it called the “unjustified rise in fuel prices that continues despite the low price of oil at the international level,” as well as its denunciation of the continuation of “the situation with regard to the “La Samir” company in Muhammadiyah as it is as a result of the absence of a clear strategic decision of the state regarding investment in oil refining.

The Front has previously organized vigils in some Moroccan cities to protest against the rise in prices, but it was a lackluster vigil in some cities, especially Casablanca.
