Despite the establishment of multi-level car parking, there is a situation where tourists park their vehicles at one place and go to other places by vehicles. Earlier, while there was a call for setting up car parking facilities in private places in Kodaikanal, the municipality also said it would regularize this.
But so far there is no cooperation from local residents. Traffic jams will also be solved as private car parking will be set up here and there. Even though the municipality has insisted on the development plans for this, the local residents show reluctance. If these are established, there will be a smooth solution to this problem.
