Berlin – The Sony Center at Potsdamer Platz is about to undergo extensive modernization around 20 years after it opened. The owner of the center, the Canadian Oxford Properties Group, wants to invest around 200 million euros in a beauty treatment of the eight buildings under the striking tent roof. The first work has already begun and most of it should be completed by the end of 2023. The plans were presented on Thursday.
