Job Description:

Centralization of responses to inquiries from police stations and detention centers concerning detainees’ requests for the appointment of a public defender, in accordance with the regulations, procedures and directives of the commissioner, including the performance of the following tasks:

• Typing applications in the computer system, opening files and issuing appointment letters.
• Conducting a telephone inquiry of the details of the arrest, the duration of the arrest and the court to which the detainee will be brought.
• Sending a defense attorney to the appropriate police station.
• He ensured the existence of a financial eligibility check of the detainees in accordance with the instructions of a defense attorney on duty from the internal team.
• Carrying out additional tasks in accordance with the needs of the position and the instructions of the supervisor.
