The Spanish electric scooter RAY 7.7 reaches six European countries

by time news

The most innovative premium Spanish brand on the market that was launched in mid-2021, is already beginning to circulate in countries such as Germany, Austria, France, Greece, Italy or Switzerland in which distribution agreements have been reached for the RAY 7.7, with a power of 23 hp and a range of 150 km.

Currently the RAY 7.7 electric scooter has about 50 points of sale in the main markets of Europe, including Spain. There are 74,705 electric motorcycles in circulation in Spain, according to the study ‘Two-wheeled vehicles by engine types’, prepared by the insurance employers’ association (UNESPA), in collaboration with ANESDOR and TIREA.

The main advantages of this model are:

1. the savings: Motorists make their calculations to amortize this type of vehicle, since the price of gasoline is increasing and in no case does the price of electricity, however high it may be, exceed it. To give an example, for a person who does 10,000 km a year, the annual savings with a RAY 7.7 can reach €800 if we take into account both gasoline and maintenance.

2. Power to circulate with zero emissions: Another important reason for purchase is ecomobility. Acquiring an electric scooter like the RAY 7.7 means being able to circulate around the center of cities with zero emissions and thus contribute to the fight against climate change. This is a priority point for institutional clients and decisive for many motorcyclists who are affected by the Low Emission Zones in their cities and more and more populations are forced by law to have a limited low emission zone.

3. The technological novelty: The other argument is the need for drivers to always be up-to-date with the best technology available: its ‘Display’ has the option of having an integrated navigator via GPS, and the height of the seat can be adjusted.
