Barely installed, the new management team of the special delegation of the urban commune of Coyah was in conclave this Wednesday, April 24, 2014 with the presidents of the 19 districts of the said commune.

Objective: introduce yourself to the different neighborhood presidents and at the same time inform them of the letter of their mission, but also set up a commission to identify current neighborhood affairs.

Concerning this mission letter, from now on the special delegations are called to develop and adopt the budget of their municipality, to develop and adopt local development plans, the annual work plan and the annual investment program. Also proceed with the recruitment of municipal staff in accordance with the procedures provided for by the law establishing the status of local authority civil servants.

For the establishment of the commune’s current affairs identification commission, five (5) neighborhood presidents (Yamoussa Camara, Ousmane Koleah Bangoura, Elhadj Momo Bangoura, Naby Bangoura and Hadja Marietou Bangoura) were invited to manage the commission and to identify all the problems concerning the 19 neighborhoods and 55 sectors of this municipality.

This commission will also have the heavy responsibility of identifying all the facilities located in the different neighborhoods, as well as all places of worship, shops and carpentry workshops and the like and public and private educational establishments located there without forget the number of hotels, motels and maquis.

The president of the special delegation, Fodé Morlaye Bangoura, in his intervention, asked the presidents of the neighborhood councils to join hands for the development of the municipality and speak with one voice for frank collaboration. And he clarified for the occasion: “I ask your pardon for collaborating with us. Let’s join hands, in order to develop our community and we entrust ourselves to you and help us to facilitate our mission and may the Good Lord assist us for the happiness of the Coyahkas. »

Elhadj Yaralabou, president of the km54 district and president of the association of district chiefs, for his part, said he was satisfied with this meeting and underlined: “We pray to God that the members of the delegation agree for the smooth running from the community. We are satisfied with your group and may the Good Lord help us for the cause of this commune. And we are also at your disposal for anything that falls within the framework of the development of our municipality. »

This meeting between the special delegation and the presidents of the neighborhoods ended on a note of satisfaction which promises a better tomorrow for the inhabitants of the urban commune of Coyah.
