Distances of different lengths and degrees of difficulty have been prepared for the participants, from short and easier distances to longer and more difficult ones, suitable for even the most skilled runners. Rimants Liepiņš, the main organizer of the event, says that the goal of this event, as always, is to ensure that everyone, regardless of age and experience level, can find a distance suitable for their strengths and desires and reminds that the most powerful Lynx once started with Vāveres distance – someone chooses to increase the pace, another the distance, the third both, and the fourth decides to enjoy nature without haste.

As usual, the event opens with participants of the ENEFIT hiking distances, suitable for those who want to enjoy the beauty of the surroundings at a leisurely pace. At 11:00 the smallest GARDU MUTI Susuri will start, followed by the longest distances of GARMIN Lūsis and VENDEN Stirnu buks, at 12:00 the participants of the 6km distance Vāvere will go on the track, followed by the KARTE VESELĪBA Zaķis runners, and the list of starts will be closed by the LATVIA STATE FORESTS students’ championship run, at 2 p.m. :00. At the end, at around 17:00, there will be an award ceremony, which will be followed by the usual instant lottery for the visitors who are present.

The Sveikuuli Forest section was created thanks to the childhood memories of the executive director of the Tukuma County Council, Ivars Liepiņš, wandering in the charming forest massif of the Sēme neighborhood, as well as the family of Tukuma Enduro motorcyclists, who encourage the participants to enjoy the twists and turns of the enduro track. The tracks will also lead through the winter cross-country skiing tracks of the leisure complex ‘Sveikuļi’, taking you through the dendrological park ‘Vāgneris’ and the Jumpravas lake to the finish at the epic Sveikuļkalni!

The Stirnu buks trail running and hiking series is suitable for anyone who wants to spend active time in nature and go on a seven-stage excursion around Latvia, regardless of experience – a beginner, an experienced runner or simply looking for an opportunity to spend a day in the fresh air. Families are also welcome to participate, as the available distance lengths and levels of difficulty ensure the opportunity to find a suitable adventure for each participant.

Registration for the Sveikuļi Meža Stirnu buk on the stirnubuks.lv website is open until September 12 at 12:00 p.m.
