This week the filming of the series “Bad Boy” that will air on HOT ended, and the person who is particularly excited about the event is the one whose life story the plot is based on – the comedian Daniel Chen.
“Yesterday I had such a great moment in my life. A rare moment of fulfilling a dream.” He wrote on Instagram after filming ended, “I feel like I have no words to say right now except to thank God and my wonderful travel partners.”
The plot of the series takes place inside a youth prison, and as mentioned follows the story of Daniel Chen, who was imprisoned for periods of imprisonment between the ages of 13 and 18 in a juvenile prison. In prison, the theater saves his life, and an impossible love story changes him forever.

“In the face of all the challenges and obstacles along the way, I get to go through a crazy journey,” Chen wrote. “Simply fulfilling the most psychic dream I could ask for, closing a psychedelic circle. I feel it’s brewing to be something really crazy and very special, it’s without a doubt the biggest and scariest bare thing I’ve created in my life and yesterday the filming ended. So I’m still digesting and there are a few more on the way Stops until it goes out into the world, but I believe, feel and know that this is only the beginning.”
The series was created by Ron Leshem (“Euphoria”) and the Israeli film and television director Hagar Ben-Asher (BOSCH, City on a Hill), with an investment of NIS 10 million from Hot. The series will star, among others: Guy Munster, Liraz Hammi, Bat Chen Sebag, Neta Plotnik, Ben Sultan, Habatmo Farda, Yishai Leloosh, Yaniv Shavit and more.
