The owners of industrial enterprises are obliged to eliminate the consequences of negative impact on the environment. The corresponding bill was adopted by the State Duma in the third reading. The norms also apply to owners of coal mines, TASS reports.

Business owners will also develop an action plan to prevent and eliminate environmental pollution. This plan must then receive the approval of the environmental impact assessment.

The management of coal mines, according to the amendments made in the second reading, must have a liquidation plan five years before the expiration of the term for using the subsoil plot.
