The stock exchange in Tel Aviv is running with prices falling

The Tel Aviv stock exchange changed direction, after opening the morning with rising prices, but during these afternoon hours the stock market weakened and the Tel Aviv index fell by about 0.25% and the Tel Aviv 125 index weakened by about 0.30%. This afternoon’s declines are in line with the trend in global markets over the weekend, with the S&P 500 and New York Composite Composite down 0.12% and 0.18% respectively.

A similar trend also applies in Europe, when London’s FTSE 100 fell by 0.03%, Madrid’s IBEX 35 shed 0.30% and Paris’ CAC 40 lost 0.17%, and in the Far East Tokyo’s Nikkei 225 fell by 1.59%, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng weakened by 0.33% and the Shanghai CSI 300 lost 0.61%.
