Pratibha Rangta was born on December 17, 2000 in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. Completed schooling from Convent of Jesus and Mary School. Later, Usha received a bachelor’s degree in filmmaking from Praveen Gandhi College of Management, Mumbai.

Auditioning for the film from the desire to meet Aamir Khan in person and perform in front of him. Referring to these facts, Pratibha said, ‘I struggled a bit. Because I am a big fan of him (Aamir).’ Actor Aamir Khan of ‘Three Idiots’ fame liked Pratibha’s performance. But Pratibha also said that he did not acknowledge it at that time.

Nithanshi Goel was born on 12 June 2007 in Nadia, Uttar Pradesh. Interestingly, the 16-year-old actress is followed by 12 million people on Instagram. She acted in several movies before acting in the movie ‘Lapata Ladies’. This list includes – M. S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Masum Sawal, Maidan, Inside Edge, Indu Sarkar etc. Apart from that, this teenage actress has also trained in Kathak dance.
Neethanshi rose to fame by playing the role of Phul in Kiran Rao’s ‘Lapata Ladies’. In an interview to Film Companion, an Indian film media, the actress said, “Since the day ‘Lapata Ladies’ has been released, my character Phul has been garnering a lot of praise. When we hit the theatres, we got a great response from the audience.”

The actress said, “Initially, when I got the offer for the audition of the movie ‘Lapata Ladies’, I did not know that Aamir sir and Kiran ma’am are associated with it. In the audition I read three long scenes of dialogue. I just wanted to be a part of this movie. I stay up all night preparing, watch old movies. I got up in the morning dressed like a flower, I didn’t have a saree so I wore a lehenga dupatta.”

Recounting the experience of meeting Aamir Khan for the first time, Nitangshi said, “A few hours after the audition, I got a phone call. I am informed that Aamir Khan sir and Kiran ma’am want to have lunch. At first I thought it might be a prank call. Without seeing I was believing, they reassured me and made me believe, ‘Indeed, Aamir Khan will have lunch with you.’ I was surprised. It was incredible. I was very nervous during the meeting with Aamir sir. Amir Sir said, “Yesterday you cracked the audition.”
