Mohammadpur Government College student Sohel Rana and his friend Saimum Hossain are handling the traffic at Asad Gate. The flag of Bangladesh is tied on their heads. They are controlling the traffic with small sticks.

Sohail Rana told RisingBD that there is no traffic police on the roads. Since we have cleared a mess, we can also fix this traffic system.

The people of the city are happy with such role of students. A passerby named Swapan standing at Mohammadpur bus stand said, how beautifully these boys are performing the duties of the traffic police. After two minutes they leave the cars on each side of the road. There is no trouble anywhere, rather these school-college boys are doing better than the traffic police.

Talked with DU student Yasmin Jahan in Shah Bagh. He said, the traffic system can be changed if desired. Look how well everyone is obeying the law on the road. You can if you want. But, no one wants to obey the law. Corruption has penetrated the entire country. Everyone has to get out of it. I don’t think it is impossible even if it takes time.
