After the disturbances which should intervene for May 1st, rebelote the following day in Paris-Orly. Following the “interprofessional national strike notice filed throughout the public service and the private sector” for this Tuesday, May 2, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC) asked airlines to reduce their flights at Orly airport. These measures concern both departures and arrivals.
In order to “limit traffic disruptions”, the DGAC announced in a press release that it will apply a “minimum service in the air navigation service at Paris-Orly airport”. Despite these preventive measures, disruptions and delays are still to be expected.
The DGAC “invites passengers who can do so to postpone their trip and to inquire with their airline to find out the status of their flight”.
