DGP Sailendrababu has ordered the transfer of the case of college student Satya Parangimalai’s murder to CBCID.
The incident of murdering Satya, a college student from Adambakkam, by a man named Satish from the same area, who pushed her in front of a running train at Parangimalai railway station, has shaken Tamil Nadu. Sadya’s father died of a heart attack in the tragedy of student Satya’s murder. The Parangimalai Police and the Railway Police formed seven separate teams to investigate the case and arrested Satish who was hiding in Chennai’s Duraipakkam this morning.
While he was being interrogated at the reserve line police station at Mambalam railway station, today he was surprised in the Saidapet court and was remanded in judicial custody for 14 days in Puzhal Jail. In this situation, while there have been requests from various quarters to investigate this brutal murder case in a proper manner, Tamil Nadu DGP Shailendrababu has ordered to transfer this murder case to CBCID.
Also, Chennai Metropolitan Police Commissioner Shankar Jiwal went to college student Satya’s house and condoled with the family. At that time, the relatives of Satya’s deceased mother informed the Commissioner of Police that she was suffering from breast cancer and sought medical help for the same. Accordingly, on the orders of the Commissioner of Police, Dr. Anita Ramesh and the medical team led by AATRAL Foundation, appropriate arrangements have been made through the Police Corps to provide free specialized breast cancer treatment to Satya’s mother at Savita Hospital.
