Timur Bekmansurov, who killed six people at the Perm State National Research University (PGNIU), regained consciousness. Anastasia Kruten, Minister of Health of the Perm Territory, spoke about this today during a briefing. According to her, his condition has improved somewhat, but remains serious. According to the Telegram channel Mash, Timur Bekmansurov himself says that he does not remember anything and he has amnesia.
The minister also said that the number of victims in the attack on the university increased to 47 people. On Wednesday, September 23, 43 casualties were reported. “The number of people who have applied for various minor injuries is increasing every day,” said Ms. Kruten.
Now there are 19 victims in hospitals (12 in Perm hospitals, 7 in federal clinics). Of the patients of medical institutions of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, five people are in serious condition, two in a state of moderate severity. However, the condition of all patients is stable, said Anastasia Kruten.
On Monday, September 20, 18-year-old law student of Perm State National Research University Timur Bekmansurov opened fire at the university. Six people were killed. The attacker himself was wounded during the arrest, and later part of his shin was amputated.
