A tragic event occurred in Monsey, New York when a young businessman named Rabbi Menachem Toporowitz suddenly passed away at only 39 years old. This devastating news shocked his friends, community, and family. Rabbi Toporowitz left behind five children who are now orphaned.
The cause of his sudden passing was a cardiac arrest that occurred early Friday morning. Rabbi Toporowitz was well-known and had many acquaintances in Munsi who were all affected by his loss. He was the son of Yablchata Governor Rabbi Amichai Topurowitz of Monsieur and the late Rabbi Shlomo Topurowitz, who was the founder of the Nachalat HaLoim yeshiva in Haifa and the community in the Neve Shanan neighborhood.
Although he chose to study at ‘Nachlat Heloyim’ yeshiva in Haifa, he established his home in Monsey, USA. He ran a company for wood flooring and parquet, which he built from scratch and found great success in. Just two weeks ago, he visited Israel with his friends from the community of Rabbi Centers in Wesley Hills in Munsi.
Rabbi Toporowitz was planning to be in Florida with his family for Passover but unfortunately, this is no longer possible due to his sudden passing. His mother, who was flying to visit Israel for Passover, received the sad news of her son’s passing in Israel. She will fly back for Shabbat on Saturday night.
Rabbi Toporowitz’s wife and five children are now left to grieve his passing. The eldest child is just 14 years old. The funeral procession took place at 10:30 AM (New York time) in Munsi. May his soul rest in peace.

A grave tragedy in Monsey, USA: early morning (Friday) the late young businessman Rabbi Menachem Toporovitz died suddenly and was only 39 years old, after suffering a sudden cardiac arrest.
His sudden passing shocked all his many acquaintances and friends in Munsi who were shocked by the shocking disaster that happened to their close friend.
The late deceased is the son of Yablchata Governor Rabbi Amichai Topurowitz of Monsieur, son of the late Rabbi Shlomo Topurowitz, patron and founder of the Nachalat HaLoim yeshiva in Haifa and the community in the Neve Shanan neighborhood in the city.
By choice, he studied at the ‘Nachlat Heloyim’ yeshiva in Haifa and established his home in Monsey in the USA. For his livelihood, he ran a company for wood flooring and parquet and saw success in his businesses, which he built with ten fingers.
Just two weeks ago he visited Israel together with his friends from the community of Rabbi Centers in Wesley Hills in Munsi, and in the last elections in the month of Chesvan he traveled for 12 hours to vote as instructed by Rabbi Marnan and Rabban Gadoli Israel.
On the upcoming Passover he had already planned to be in Florida with his family and now disaster has befallen the family.
His mother Shethai, who was flying to visit Israel on the eve of Passover, received the sad news of her son’s passing in Israel, and only on Shabbat night will she fly back for Shabbat.
He left behind his wife Shathai’ and five orphaned children, the eldest of whom is only 14 years old.
The funeral procession will take place this morning at 10:30 (New York time) in Muncie.
