The goal of the summer camp “Let’s Protect Leopards!” is to educate young people from school age about the environment, to develop a sense of love for nature, to inform schoolchildren living near the habitat of the Caucasian leopard about this rare species and to promote its protection.

At the camp, schoolchildren participated in seminars on topics such as the protection of the Caucasian leopard, humans and the environment, excursions to the leopards’ natural habitat, various environmental studies and competitions.

It should be noted that there are currently 15 Caucasian leopards living in the territory of Hyrcanus in Azerbaijan.
