The Superliga de League of Legends, the official league in Spain of the Riot Games game that organizes LVP (MEDIAPRO GROUPS), come back next May 29 for the beginning of his summer season.
Movistar Riders defends the title won last April in Zaragoza after a final in which they clearly beat Los Heretics (3-0). The challenge for the blue riders is to lift the cup again in the summer season, an increasingly elusive milestone for the teams that participate in the Super League. The last five champions have been five different teams: UCAM Tokiers (spring 2021), Giants (summer 2021), Fnatic TQ (spring 2022), Los Heretics (summer 2022) and Movistar Riders (spring 2023).
The Super League is one of the most disputed and exciting competitions in the world of League of Legends. In fact, no team has repeated the title since Giants won it in the summer of 2019 and spring of 2020. Of course, between both competitions, the giants lost the final of the Iberian Cup against MAD Lions. The lions, for their part, were the first and so far only team to achieve a consecutive triplet (Spring Super League, Summer Super League, Iberian Cup), in the closest thing to a dynasty that reflects the history of the competition.
“We are working on one of the most spectacular seasons in the history of the Super League. We are going to put the focus on the narrative, where the clubs are doing an exceptional job of generating stories and rivalries. In addition, from LVP we maintain the plan to take the Super League in person to different parts of the territory, and we are convinced that we will surprise the fans very soon ”, he explains Jordi SolerCEO of LVP.

The competition starts on Monday, May 29, although the regular broadcast days will once again be Tuesdays and Thursdays. In fact, the second day will be played on May 30 and the third, that same week, will take place on Thursday, June 1.
Each day will start at 6:00 p.m., although fans of the Super League and League of Legends have an appointment at the LVP’s twitch channel from 5:15 p.m., when the “Lobby by Magnum” starts up. The preview of the day is renewed for the summer season with new content and surprise guests.
