The summer weekend continues on Sunday. Aside from the ephemeral presence of banks of mist or fog over the north of the country, and rare low clouds near the Gulf of Lion and Bay of Biscay at the start of the day, the sun will dominate on Sunday, according to Météo-France.

The minimums will be around 5 to 10 degrees in the northern half of the country, 10 to 13 further south, close to 15 to 17 over the Mediterranean arc. Thermal amplitudes could range from 20 to 22 degrees between morning and afternoon with maximums of 25 to 30 in the northern half, from 28 to 31 further south, up to 32 at the foot of the Pyrenees, in the Landes, towards the Nîmes region.
