The Supreme Council of State issues an important statement!

The Supreme Council of State, in the presence of the Council President, Dr. Muhammad Takala, and members of the Presidency Office, held its 100th session at the Council’s headquarters.

The session concluded with “issuing a statement regarding the statements issued by the General Authority for Endowments that affect the Ibadi sect, incite sedition, and harm the Libyan social fabric.”

The session also included “authorizing the Presidency Office to form a committee of council members specializing in Islamic sciences to communicate with the relevant institutions to urge them to adopt a moderate, centrist religious discourse and to avoid raising issues that incite strife among the members of Libyan society.”

The session also concluded with “working to enhance the language of dialogue and attending joint dialogue meetings to bring viewpoints closer together, holding a tripartite meeting between the heads of councils to complete the Arab League meeting,” and “discussing amending the local administration law, activating it, and distributing resources to the governorates to achieve justice among Libyans.”
