The Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court has annulled the sentence of the Provincial Court of Barcelona, of September 23, 1992, which sentenced a man for two crimes of rape and two offenses of injuries to a total of 24 years in prison. The high court upholds the appeal for review against a final judgment filed by said person, which was based on new evidence such as expert reports on the semen found in an intimate garment of the assaulted woman, and which does not correspond to the markers of the recurrent.
