The Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court has confirmed the sentences of 34 years in prison imposed on a couple for the kidnapping, robbery with violence and murder of a man whom the accused woman had contacted through the Badoo social network in September 2019. The court dismissed in its entirety the appeals of both convicted persons against the sentence of the Superior Court of Justice of Aragon, which in turn ratified the sentence of a court of the jury of the Audiencia de Zaragoza. In essence, the proven facts of the ratified sentence indicate that the accused woman contacted the victim, a resident of Getxo (Vizcaya), through the Badoo social network, and summoned her to an appointment on September 6, 2019 in the town of Zaragoza where she lived with her partner.
