The police have registered a case against Colonel Pandian, a member of the BJP National General Committee, for speaking threateningly in the BJP’s protest field. Acting on information provided by police intelligence officers, the Tiruvallikeni police have booked Colonel Pandian under two counts of disturbing public peace and inciting violence. Further, it was informed by the police that the investigation will be conducted and sections will be added according to the nature of the crime.
In this case, Army officer Pandian has sought an unconditional apology in the High Court. After Pandyan apologized, the High Court granted him anticipatory bail.
