The Israel Taekwondo Association’s 2022 wrap-up event was held today (Friday) and featured the many achievements of Israeli athletes in a variety of competitions around the world.
Among the outstanding achievements this year were the crowning of Dana Azran as the runner-up of the world champion, Avishag Samberg as the runner-up of the European champion, Rebecca Bayich won the bronze medal at the European championship, Nimrod Karbitsky won the bronze medal at the European championship and Assaf Yassur was crowned the paralympic world champion, and also won the bronze medal at the European championship and finished as grand champion Paris fruit.
Present at the event: Deputy Head of the Sports Director Mr. Hanan Danziger, CEO of the Israel Olympic Committee Mr. Gili Lustig, Chairman of the Paralympic Committee Mr. Eli Birnbaum, Chairman of the Israel Taekwondo Association Mr. Yehuda Maayan and CEO of the Israel Taekwondo Association Mrs. Noa Shamida.
