The Taliban administration has sought international assistance

The Taliban government has sought international aid after 192 people were killed in floods caused by heavy rains in Afghanistan this month. Thousands of pedestrians were swept away by the flood waters and died. Also, more than 17 lakh fruit trees have been destroyed. Due to this, the economic problem in the country is rampant and the people are struggling to get their daily food. With more than 10 lakh families in need of emergency assistance including food, clothing and tents, Afghanistan’s disaster ministry has appealed to the international community for assistance.
