Yevgueni Prigogine, the leader of the mercenaries of the “Wagner” paramilitary group, is fighting two battles: in Ukraine, in Bakhmout, where his mercenaries have been trying for months to take this locality in Donbass from the forces of Kiev, which has become a symbolic stake; in Moscow, then, where a ferocious fight pits him against the general staff and the Ministry of Defence.
