(live here) – 10th grade students in all schools in Haifa and throughout the country will start the school day this coming Sunday (3/19/23) at 12:00, according to the teachers’ organization.
The announcement of the teachers’ organization:
“In light of the Ministry of Finance’s disdainful and disgraceful conduct towards secondary education teachers and the Ministry of Finance’s humiliating and offensive proposals to teachers, the teachers’ organization has decided to intensify the measures and announces that classes on Sunday in the 10th grade in all secondary schools in the country will begin at 12:00!”
The chairman of the teachers’ organization, Ran Erez:
“We will not stop until the salary of teachers starting in secondary education is at least 12,000 shekels! And the salary of veteran teachers will rise accordingly.”
“We will not give a hand to the continued humiliation of secondary education teachers in Israel,” the organization concluded.
