Rozalén, Arkano, Ismael Serrano, Nena Daconte, Fetén Fetén, El Langui, Huecco, DJ Nano and Blanca Paloma are some of the artists who will participate in the charity concert organized by the Telephone of Hope, which will be held at the WiZink Center in Madrid on September 7 under the slogan Grab life. Grab life is a project that aims to promote the creation of cultural and artistic resources that help make visible the enormous importance that emotional health care has in our society and how this care is a key factor in suicide prevention: «We have We have to make society aware that care and listening help prevent and reduce the suicide of one person in the world every 40 seconds”, says Magdalena Pérez, national head of suicide prevention.

“This is a project to raise awareness in society about the importance of emotional health care,” say the organizers

In 2022, the Hope Telephone has received more than 183,000 calls from people who suffer and need listening and help. The increase in calls from adolescents is especially worrying, more than 12,000 in 2022. According to the latest data from the INE, in 2022 there were 4,097 suicides, which represents an increase of 2.3% compared to 2021, but it grew over everything between adolescents between 15 and 19 years old, from 53 to 72, which means 35% more.

Rozalén’s song

All the artists will participate in the concert in solidarity, following in the footsteps of the singer Rozalén, who a year ago decided to join the project with the song ‘Agarrarte a la vida’, which she composed inspired by a first idea from the Telephone of Hope and a personal experience. A song with lyrics and a sound that convey that we are all vulnerable, that we can all be by the side of those who suffer (“sometimes the simple presence is the greatest understanding”) and that there are help resources designed to facilitate this re-grasp life and fill it with meaning.

Up to now, the concert has been sponsored by Contigo Éxito Producciones, Comunidad de Madrid, Grupo Palacios and Éxito Crítico, and the collaboration of Cirkuk, Hallon, STB Estudio, Medeland, SIM Agency, Miguel Merino, Escala, Miguel Garbayo and Samaniego.
