Dubai: Mammootty says deliberate downgrading of movies is not the right trend. He was speaking at an event held at the Indian Pavilion at the Dubai Expo as part of the global launch of his new film Bhishmaparvat.

The cinematic concept and quality of the audience has changed. The film has changed accordingly. Bhishma Parvat tells the story of the 1980s. The 1980s shoot was laborious among masked walkers. The film has nothing to do with Bhishma in the Mahabharata. The shooting did not take place for a year due to Kovid. There was a gap of up to 70 days between the two schedules.

Saubin Shahir said that the next film is with Dulquar. Mammootty starrer ‘Cherukatha’ is still in the pipeline. “It’s a great movie,” Saubin said. The movie will be released on Thursday in 150 theaters in all the Gulf countries except Kuwait.
