The activity, aimed at those over 70, is aimed at promoting the person’s psychophysical well-being, improving the quality of life and transmitting a positive culture of aging
The Municipality of Wedge intends to propose again to the over 70 of the city the thirteenth edition of the “Territorial Life Gym”managed by the Consorzio Socio Assistenziale del Cuneese – in collaboration with the “Bottega del Possibile”. The activity is aimed at promoting the psychological and physical well-being of the person and improving the quality of life, transmitting a positive culture of aging. Furthermore, it aims to provide psychological support to the person by enhancing the resources of individuals, the group and the community.
In the “Life Gym”, in addition to socializing, information on health is offered, mental training is done, creativity is expressed and lifestyle is improved. Participation in the group establishes a virtuous circle of self-help that allows the people involved to seek together an alternative way when faced with certain difficulties in the life cycle. The meetings will take place on Tuesdays from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm in the municipal hall of the Meet Center in via Leutrum 7, starting from September 17, 2024 until June 2025.
Leading the group will be Alessia Morelli and Jolanda Pannullo, psychologists and psychotherapists who conduct the “Palestra di Vita” method. The participation fee is 50 euros, with the possibility of a reduction based on ISEE.
