IDF and Shin Bet forces arrested the terrorist who carried out the stabbing attack in the village of Al-Fundok. The terrorist was handed over to the security forces for investigation.
The terrorist was arrested following extensive searches and intelligence activity by the Shin Bet.
As a reminder, earlier today (Tuesday) a 60-year-old man was moderately injured after he was stabbed in the village of Al Pondok by the terrorist when he entered a store there. The terrorist escaped immediately afterwards and the forces began searching for the terrorist who escaped.
According to passers-by, he was injured after being attacked when he entered a shop in the village. After the initial aid, he was taken to a hospital in an IDF intensive care vehicle, where at this stage his condition is defined as moderate.
The Sheba Medical Center reported that “after initial treatment and assessment in the shock room by the trauma team, his condition is determined to be moderate to serious. The injured is expected to undergo additional tests after which he will be transferred to the trauma department for further treatment.
The patient’s family asked to state that they do not wish to be interviewed and wish to maintain their privacy at this time.”
