STORY – Death triumphs in Gaza, it reigns supreme. Humanitarian aid in the Palestinian refugee camps is dealing with a worsening lack of resources; the population survives as best they can.

Asma Abousyam’s fridge is not quite empty yet. In the photo she just sent we can see, in total, three opened cans of processed cheese and four small peppers. This morning, she went to try her luck at the “supermarket» from her neighborhood, in Khan Younes, ready to buy «anything“. But once again, she found nothing. She is worried. What will she feed her two nephews, aged 6 and 4, who have come from Gaza City to take refuge with their mother? In his apartment also live his 90-year-old father, his 72-year-old mother, his big sister… Four women, two children, an old man who stand alone, without anything, in the war.

Life has become an ordeal
